Gemini deposit not showing up

Confirmation lag is still the most common reason a deposit has not appeared, so start there. But if you used a network Gemini does not support, it states plainly that it will not recover the funds — so it matters a great deal which of the two happened, and the transaction itself will tell you.

Gemini has no recovery product and states that sending tokens over an unsupported network can result in loss of funds. It does, however, document wrong-chain deposits and says it will contact the user if the tokens can be recovered later. Contact Gemini so the deposit is on record — do not treat this as recovery, but do not treat it as final either. Gemini does publish a multichain deposit table, so which networks it credits is known even though recovery is not offered — that combination is exactly when the warning matters most.

Check these first, in this order

  1. Give it more confirmations. A deposit that shows as confirmed on a block explorer still has to meet the exchange's own confirmation count, which is often higher.
  2. Check the network you actually used, not the one you meant to use. This is the single most common cause, and it is invisible unless you look at the transaction.
  3. Check the amount against Gemini's minimum deposit. Exchanges typically do not auto-credit below it — the figure is on their own deposit page, and we do not carry it here.
  4. Check that the address really is your Gemini deposit address, and not one you pasted from somewhere else.

Stop guessing — check the transaction

Paste the hash Gemini gave you and we will tell you which of the above actually happened, and whether the funds moved at all.

What Gemini will not act on

Different from the list above — the funds may still exist somewhere, but this is outside what they will do.

  • No helptokens sent over a network Gemini does not support
  • No helpunsupported assets received via unsolicited transfer
