Kraken deposit missing

Most deposits that have not appeared are not lost. The usual causes are confirmations that have not finished, a network mismatch, or a missing memo — all visible in the transaction itself.

No self-service form — support ticket only. Kraken states recovery duration depends on the complexity of the case and does not publish a figure.

Check these first, in this order

  1. Give it more confirmations. A deposit that shows as confirmed on a block explorer still has to meet the exchange's own confirmation count, which is often higher.
  2. Check the network you actually used, not the one you meant to use. This is the single most common cause, and it is invisible unless you look at the transaction.
  3. Check whether your asset needed a memo or destination tag. Kraken lists 4 that do, including XRP, XLM, EOS, STX. Kraken charges network fee to recover one.
  4. Check the amount against Kraken's minimum deposit. Exchanges typically do not auto-credit below it — the figure is on their own deposit page, and we do not carry it here.
  5. Check that the address really is your Kraken deposit address, and not one you pasted from somewhere else.

Stop guessing — check the transaction

Paste the hash Kraken gave you and we will tell you which of the above actually happened, and whether the funds moved at all.
